Lacewood & Birds-eye Maple Keepsake Box
This keepsake box was built from a single piece of resawn lacewood that is joined together with box joints and reinforced with brass pins. The lid insert and interior walls of the box are ambrosia maple. The feet are crafted from birds-eye maple. The handle is constructed from a lamination of bird-eye maple and walnut. The interior floor of this box is lined with a cut of genuine leather. This is a one-of-a-kind keepsake box and I will never make another one exactly like it.
The inner storage dimensions of this box are 7 7/8” long, 3 1/4” wide, and 3 3/8” tall. The entire box dimensions are roughly 10 1/2” long, 6” wide, and 6 1/2” tall (including feet and handle).
